Across gender & race, we are still all about 99.9% similar when it comes to our DNA. Humans truly are very similar to one another, though we can look quite different from anyone else we walk by o the street. Our gut bacteria is a whole other story, though! You can have a gut microbiome that is 100% different from any other person on this earth. From where we've lived and visited and which foods we eat regularly, to whether or not we were breast fed and our ability to handle stress, there are a large variety of factors that contribute to the diversity in our gut. Pretty crazy!
